You may have recently come across an organisation called PHP Agency, otherwise known as People Helping People.

One quick search online reveals a lot of hate on sites like Reddit.

Some claim it’s a scam, a pyramid scheme or a Ponzi.

Others say it’s the best ‘opportunity’ that’s ever happened to them.

It’s time to lay down the facts

And expose this company for what they are.

PHP Agency Review

Chances are that you’ve come across Patrick Bet-David on YouTube

He’s otherwise known as Valuetainment with 2.8 million subscribers.

(Which is a boatload of followers by the way)

This is a key reason for the fast succession of this platform.

As well as 14,000+ representatives/brokers in the field today.

Their rapid growth is similar to companies like ACN.

So what are they about?

What are they selling?

Why do you have to pay $200 just to start?

And why are there so many complaints?

That’s what I hope to answer.

I’ll take a middleline approach here.

That respects the haters and the believers.

Let’s begin.

What Do They Sell?

PHP Agency is a network marketing company that makes the bulk of its revenue through sales of insurance products as well as the recruitment of new individuals.

They sell insurance products to the South American and African American demographic.

Their premise is to help families access more affordable insurance policies

While at the same time, reducing the lead acquisition cost traditionally associated with such financial products.

It’s a win-win for both parties.

MLM schemes have traditionally been focused on pills, potions and lotions

Essentially, low-ticket items that add up with enough people

But People Helping People took another route

They went with high-ticket items (insurance products) but one that appeals to a larger demographic.

How Did They Go Viral?

They really do seem to be going viral.

Otherwise known as ‘blowing up’ online.

A large part of their success is down to two elements.

1. Consistent content production
2. The volume growth of commission agents

The 1st notion is based on Gary Vaynerchuk’s premise

One of creating consistent content like wildfire

Allow people to consume

And later, they’ll be drawn in by your influence

So you’re able to offer products and services that they need.

And so by drawing in some of the biggest influencers in this space

PHP Agency has really sky-rocketed to the top with traffic

With hundreds of people joining each and every month.

Common PHP Agency Complaints

In this review, I’ll be convering the pros and cons.

And it’s best to lead with the bad news first.

Because it’s likely that you want to know what the issues are.

You’ve searched online and have found numerous complaints.

Essentially, people have had problems with this company for a while.

Here are the most common complaints surrounding PHP Agency:

Complaint #1: The Anti-MLM Hate

Part of your process when being apart of this company is recruiting.

Yes, you’ll be expected to recruit others into yourline.

Otherwise known as enrolling more representatives.

After all, this is a network marketing scheme.

The problem is though…that the BBB ratings aren’t impressive.

So this can scare off any potential deal-closing opportunities.

Whether that’s a new insurance product signed

Or a new recruit who’s seeking to build their own online business.

These people are likely to become apprehensive with so much #antimlm hate online.

Literally there are hundreds of videos about this.

After all, the business model is very old with a poor reputation

And it was popularised by Amway and Herbalife.

So we’re talking a concept from 1987

And using social media in 2021 to scale it up.

Somewhat challenging, we might think.

Especially those who call PHP Agency an outright scam.

Complaint #2: It Isn’t A Business

This is a complaint that many of us hold; myself included.

You’re probed with the notion of creating a business for yourself.

The problem is…it isn’t your business. You’ll be a sales rep.

You can’t really sell your business as it doesn’t belong to you.

We’re going to make it cool to be a life insurance agent.

So the notion of owning your own business isn’t one you can do with MLM.

Now, it’s the business model itself, as opposed to arrangements with PHP agency.

While they play the ‘Own Your Business’ card often

It’s just not something that is genuine.

And it isn’t a job either, since jobs pay a salary

So you’ll have this tough spot of not having a business

And not having a job either.

While paying to get involved.

Which brings me to the next point…

Complaint #3: Payment For Training

You’ll need to pay for your own company training.

This is typical of MLM companies

They make a large portion of their revenue from education.

Now, I’m certainly not against this at all.

I believe self-education to be seriously underrated.

With the potential to really set you up for life.

Now, in company positions, you’ll be paid to get trained.

Your employers pay you by the hour

And then your costs of company training are also paid

Including flights & accommodation for interstate/overseas trips

But with PHP Agency, the case is quite different.

You’ll be liable for all costs associated with getting started

Your own company training plus any travel.

As well as – you guessed it – health insurance.

This is what a lot of people complain about.

After all, money makes people a bit worried.

Especially the demographic that has been vulnerable.

But…let’s not forget the value in self education.

With so much available for free already on YouTube

From the likes of Grant Cardone, Patrick Bet-David, David Goggins and Tom Bilyeu.

Complaint #4: Awkward Marketing Tactics

If you join People Helping People, you’ll have to start a recruitment drive.

This involves some ackward conversations with friends and family.

You may need to start dressing up your social media profiles.

Things like “build your own business” and “Quit the 9 to 5”

Or motivational content like ‘living your dreams today’

And I’m certainly not against such tactics…because they work.

I’ve used them on my blog as well as other content sites and brands.

But there is the inherit and awkward nature of pitching to friends and family.

As it’s what you’re encouraged to do inside this network marketing agency.

This includes inboxing those you haven’t spoken to since high school.

With invitations of ‘Checking out this new opportunity….’

By using lines like “I’d just like to run this business idea past you…”

And don’t get me wrong – this stuff works.

It works very well actually.

But it’s just…somewhat awkward.

And MLMs traditionally have a high dropout rate

With friendships tainted due to individuals losing money.

Complaint #5: The Notion of Big Income

The premise of the PHP Agency company is the notion of big income

We’re talking about 6-figure type of income or even pushing into 7-figures

Essentially, there is big money on the table for those who want it.

But such results might appear to come easy.

When in reality, they’re anything but easy.

#hustlelife shows us that we need to work hard and diligently

Over a long enough period of time

To finally attain the results we seek.

And so, the big income payoffs are less likely to be claimed by most recruits.

Now, some have reported that the notion of money causes sales reps to make incorrect statements.

Only for the recepient to have to jump through hoops for a refund.

Upside #1: Powerful Education

Now, it’s time to switch gears.

After all, I’m a genuinely positive person around here.

So let’s start with some upsides here

With the first one being the powerful education.

A large component of the PHP Agency opportunity is education.

It’s where you’ll go deeper on your self values

As well as learn how to get more out of each day

Let’s not forget the business education which can be powerful

And the education on how to become a better life insurance agent

I feel as though potential recruits don’t see the value in the education.

Instead, they just see the finnacial gain which they potentially can acquire.

My advice: Don’t skip past this crucial piece of this scheme.

I’ve lead with this as it’s the best element around.

Upside #2: Solid Community

Having a strong community around us really helps us shine.

You may have hanged out with those who previously held you back.

As Dan Peña would say: “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future!”

What you’ll find inside People Helping People is the hustlers

After all, you’d have to work very hard to find any success in an MLM in 2021.

So you’ll have those who keep pushing forward

And keeping everyone accountable.

While lending some help if you need it.

The live events are

And interestingly enough, the average age of recruits is 35.

Even more interesting is that females are more successful.

Upside #3: Strong Leadership

It’s not just Patrick Bet-David who is involved here.

The leadership team is quite intense and a true powerhouse too.

Matt Sapaula from 7 Figure Squad is a huge part of PHP Agency.

As is Jose & Marlene Gayton as well as Hector and Erika Del Toro.

The leadership team pushes personal branding a lot.

Since this is THE way to generate organic leads in 2021.

I gotten a real sense that the leadership team is genuine.

They’re there to help new recruits find their way to the top.

Upside #4: Untied Business Interests

If you were to start your own life insurance business, it would be difficult.

Very difficult, in fact. And 95% of businesses still fail.

Because you need to do marketing, branding, product and more.

And so, this is where PHP Agency can help you get started.

All the while not having you tied to business leases and contractual agreements.

What I really like is the breathe of flexibility.

As well as space to stretch and grow as an individual.

Essentially, you’re untied but with a platform to help you grow.

Paired with a community who’s pushing each other for success.

Upside #5: Leverages Personal Development

For over 10 years I’ve been on this journey.

As a heavy consumer of personal development content.

That includes books, seminars, podcasts, conferences

And way too many Valuetainment videos that I’d want to admit to.

It’s not just me either. Self-help has become the new norm.

Because you’re either growing or you’re dying.

People Helping People leverages the personal development industry

As you can clearly see with Valuetainments channnel metrics.

And so, as they leverage self help, they’re able to help your revenue grow.

Because ultimately, this is what you’re probably seeking.

Is This The Right Opportunity?

Now the ultimate question is…

Is it worthwhile to join PHP Agency?

Especially as there are so many opportunities around.

I’d answer that easily by stating that it’s perfect if you’re into insurance sales.

But want the flexibility of owning your own business

While being inspired by the hustlers going to new heights.

Now, if you were looking for instant income.

Or an easy path for riches

Then this probably isn’t it.

Yet nothing is easy.

You’ll need to grind it out with anything

It’s a big mountain too.

One that you can scale alone

Or do it together.

Either way, you’ll need to push forward.

What Else Could You Do?

Now, PHP Agency might not be the best for everyone.

So it’s wise to consider the many pathways to success.

Personally, I’ve gone with digital assets

As well as content marketing for eCommerce

With being both very much on-trend right now.

As is selling on Amazon FBA.

While in the 80’s and 90’s there was only Amway

Today, we have the internet.

With millions of people now working 100% online.

So you could either build a business online

Or look for a remote job that allows you to work from home.

Without needing to make awkward outreach attempts on social media.

FInal Thoughts on People Helping People

When it comes to going into business, Patrick says it best:

1. Learn Sales
2. Become an Entrepreneur
3. Choose the Right Industry
4. Choose the Right Platform

Sales is a skill that can lead you down many new pathways.

As is the second phase: Entrepreneurship.

Points 3 and 4 are also excellent.

And I’ve got that spot nailed too.

PHP Agency aligns very well with this notion too.

For the right person, that is.

Those committed to success

And wanting to hustle hard every single day.

They’re certainly not for the faint-hearted

Especially as MLM schemes are tough to scale.

You’ll need to learn team building

While dealing with the naysayers too.

And hoping your recruits can be successful.

If that appeals to you, then you’ve found the perfect opportunity.

Let me guess…you’ve recently come across your friends acting a little different on social media. 🤷‍♂️

Like suddenly there’s a whole lot more positivity about ‘freedom’ and ‘success’.

As well as building an online business of their dreams.

It’s almost as if they have pressed a switch

And their life changed overnight

Because they came across an opportunity.

It’s one that has you researching right now.

Digital Prosperity Movement Review

Let’s begin with the notion of how this all works.

Firstly, you’ll pay the monthly membership to access The Digital Prosperity Movement.

It’s now known as Become The Change.

This is Rob and Steph’s training portal for their MLM downline.

Rosie Wolland is how I found out about it.

Joining today ‘earns’ you earn a privilege.

That priviledge is to then join Enagic/Kangen

Now costing $7,000+ by the way

(This is how they actually make coin…)

Once you’re inside, you’ll be motivated

Through hundreds of videos and community posts.

And you’ll be selling the water machines too.

Now that’s something that people really enjoy

And others completely loathe

So let’s look at the pros and cons

Firstly, the bad news first.

The Bad #1: The MLM Hate

Most people these days have a fair idea what MLM is.

Those that don’t are the younger generation under 30.

And that’s exactly who the Digital Prosperity Movement targets.

Because they haven’t seen the complaints yet.

Did you know that there are hundreds of #antimlm videos out there?

People simply hating on the entire business model.

Fair call, because it isn’t as sharp as it used to be.

In 1992, these network marketing companies were hot.

Being in one wasn’t frowned upon as much as it is today.

Today, the landscape has changed.

Like…really changed. It’s so much different now.

Facebook even hates MLM and bans the running of ads.

But I don’t. I don’t hate on these.

I see both sides of the coin.

They’re not the best, but they’re not the worst.

Simply people trying to make a start online.

But with the wrong tool for the job.

Since there are so many ways to go big online.

The Bad #2: The Notion of Lazy Work

The whole notion of hard work over a long period isn’t sexy.

Especially online income.

And at least, not for this generation.

They just want things NOW.

Success now. Stuff now.

And thus, people tend to look for quick and easy ways to win these days

Hence why the marketing is geared this way

“Get paid 24/7 while you sleep or travel…”

In other words, lazy money.

Paired with photos of people living the ‘good life’

As a means to escape the realities of the world

Don’t get me wrong – I don’t follow societies norms

I like the notion of going down a different path

It’s a process I’ve followed for many years

And today I have the lifestyle that I have.

But I don’t romanticize business.

Because no business is easy.

Nor is it fast or low-cost.

It’s hard work, man.

You’ll be putting in lots of time and energy

To gain something at the end.

Which brings me to the next point

Bad News #3: Their Asset

As you’ll be putting in so much time, effort and energy

You’ll want to be sure that you’ll get something at the end

And unfortunately, all that work belongs to someone else

If you leave the Digital Prosperity Movement, those customers are theirs

Same goes with Enagic. You don’t own the business.

Everything you do is an asset for them.

Worst – you pay for your own training.

Unlike a traditional business where they pay you to improve your skills.

This is something easily missed by most recruits.

They don’t realize that there are 100+ ways to make it online today.

From digital marketing to social media and more.

Personally, I prefer digital assets but it’s a long-term play.

But fortunately, I get to own those assets.

Good News #1: Life-Changing Products

Now we’re switching gears to the goodside.

The first thing is the lifechanging nature of these products.

Both the education and the product itself can be mesmarizing

(If you can afford either)

Unlike the old school products of Amway

Here, you’ve got something that can really make a difference

Not just to yourself, but to those around you

So it’s easy to see why reps become so engaged

And start flooding their social media profiles

Which brings me to the next point

Good News #2: A Passionate Community

Rob & Steph have a great community

It’s full of those who want something different in their life

Since they don’t fit the mold for society.

So a great place to find passionate individuals

Those that fully support your dreams and ambitions

Though it’s hard to find genuine business people

Since it’s mostly Kangen sales reps in here

But still, where else will you find the cheerleaders?

Good News #3: High-Ticket Product(s)

While you’re going to own 0% of DPM or Enagic, there is still a big carrot

And that’s the high-ticket nature of their products

Namely, it’s the water machines.

You could be making up to a few thousand on each one

Which is considered very high-ticket

(Though I’ve sold consulting for 7x these prices)

Given you’re looking for a full-time income

And are going to be trading a lot of time and energy

You may as well get something for your troubles

And so, the high-ticket products could earn you a few thousand a month

If you play the long game, that is.

Because results always take a long time to come to fruition.

In Summary

The Digital Prosperity Movement (Become The Change) has pros and cons

As I’ve clearly detailed here.

Some aren’t sure if they’re really fit for this community

Nor is the business model as sustainable as envisioned

But hopefully by now, you have some unbiased indication

A clear path to see if this is worth it.

Essentially, it’s the front door to an MLM scheme

And these days, network marketing is considered sketchy

But if you’re committed for success

Then you’ll leave the naysayers behind

And push forward to the finish line. 😃

So you’ve heard about the Freelife Movement and are seriously keen to do some research.

You’ve seen the bad comments, the complaints and the good side too.

In this unbiased review, I’ll give you a middle-line perspective.

One that respects each sides equally.

The Freelife Movement Review

So you’ve got “that” person on social media that you’ve been following for a while.

One that seems to be seriously happy and joyous all of a sudden.

What happened? Well, they joined The Freelife Movement.

A membership. A club. Or simply, a loving community.

One which is growing like wildfire on social media.

All talking about the ‘perfect life today’ using key influencers.

While traveling to Australia, Bali, USA and the like.

Ultimately, what are they selling? Freedom. 😉

More accurately, they’re selling two things.

Firstly, it’s the education for mindset and branding.

And second, they’re selling expensive water machines.

Some have called it a pyramid scheme, a cult or ponzi scam.

Others (their reps) say it’s the very best thing in the world.

So you’ve got the seriously negative naysayers

As well as the overly positive lightworkers.

I’ll continue with an element of critical thinking here.

The Education

The education is the best part about this system.

You’ll be learning about social media branding.

As well as mindset and self mastery for success.

Important characteristics if you’re looking to win.

Hundreds of hours of video content online.

The education isn’t cheap. It’s like that for a reason.

This allows only the most committed to make their way in.

The Water Machines

As you continue through the education, you’re lead to the machines.

Ultimately, this is where the big bucks are. The high-ticket sales.

Because soon enough, you’ll want to recoup your initial outlay.

You’ll be training on how to sell these machines to friends & family.

“But I thought this was my own business and my own rules?”

Not quite. You’re not building a business here.

You’re merely becoming a sales rep for Enagic.

The water machines aren’t really that affordable for most people.

Some even get a credit card or go into deep debt for this biz.

Which I highly discourage for the first timer online.

The Community

The community is what keeps The Breakaway Movement together.

Inside you’ll find hundreds of Instagram and Facebook peeps.

They’re all committed and working towards success right now.

You’ll find plenty of content on their social media pages too.

All talking about ‘online business’ and ‘great freedom’.

It’s all covered in their training about personal branding.

Don’t forget plenty of global travel plans and masterminds.

Unfortunately, some are using the Law of Attraction too much.

It seems to make others concerned about group brainwashing.

You know, like wishing for success instead of working hard.

Because hard work is seldom found in the world today.

Much less in an MLM company, hence why 99% fail.

The Opportunity

So you’re thinking about the business model.

One that is centered around direct sales.

Now, you won’t own the business. This is theirs.

You’ll be unpaid initially as a sales rep.

But first, you’ll need to pay for the membership.

Then outlay thousands for the water machines.

Once you make quota, then you’ll get paid.

So unlike a normal job, you’ll pay for your own training.

And there isn’t any office space, nor company cars.

Sounds a bit off…doesn’t it? You’ll pay to play here.

You pay money upfront.

In the hope of recovering it in the future.

To be fair, genuine businesses are like this too.

A big risk, but a tangible reward at the end.

Yet I prefer real online businesses.

Simply as they don’t require selling to friends and family.

Ultimately

There are many opportunities in the world today.

In fact, millions of jobs are now online.

The type where you can get paid next week.

Without any upfront capital needed. It’s that easy.

Heard of Upwork? Heaps of legit no experience jobs there.

Likewise, plenty of great business models.

The type where you actually own the business yourself. 

So if you’re chasing the digital lifestyle….

Then The Freelife Movement might work out

Yet there are many great alternatives.

So you’re curious about The Breakaway Movement and probably found out about this group on social media.

Things seem a little…perplexing. Let me give you some insights.

The Breakaway Movement Reviewed

This platform started booming on social media in early 2020.

One that sees many peeps talking about ‘freedom and ‘entrepreneurship’ today.

Essentially, influencers who suddenly found themselves with some new opportunity.

One which seemingly overnight….changed their life. But how?

And what is it exactly that their selling?

You know…how do the representatives make the moolah?

It’s two things: Education and Enagic/Kangen Water Machines.

They get you in on the education under the guise of ‘working for yourself’.

For you to become a commission-only sales rep with the Kangen machines.

Once you’re in, you’re encouraged to recruit others into the same scheme.

Some have called it a cult, a scam or a pyramid scheme.

I just call it Multi-Level Marketing in the Roaring 20’s.

One that is legit but is…well…quite challenging.

Much more challenging than first assumed.

They’re using social media to sell the ‘instant lifestyle today’.

(Because just about nobody wants to work hard nowadays 😞)

Now – there are some good and bad elements here.

Because you’re looking for a fair and balanced review.

One that is unbiased.

Let’s begin.

MLM and NOT Business

You’ll often see distributors talking about ‘their business’.

One that is being run on the beach with a laptop.

Unfortunately, isn’t their business.

It’s unpaid work….initially.

You’ll have two jobs.

Firstly, to find more members.

And to sell more water machines.

You won’t be owning ‘a business’.

Because that belongs to Enagic.

Real businesses are those with P&L statements.

Plus they have real-world value.

The type of businesses that can be sold for profits.

So I’ve been a little harsh here.

The point is: This is Network Marketering.

A.k.a. Selling to friends and family.

As opposed to owning your own online business.

That’s a totally sepearate gig.

If you’re looking to build an online business.

Then the Breakaway Movement isn’t it.

How You’ll Be Working

If you’re serious about joining this, then you gotta be the expert.

Start dressing up your social media profiles with cool stuff.

Like the places you’ve visited and the freedom you now have.

(Don’t fake it ’til you make it though…no one does that. 😉)

Also, call yourself an affiliate marketer.

But it isn’t true…you’re in network marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a totally different biz model.

By taking this approach, you’ll draw more people towards you.

Those that will be curious and keen to join your MLM downline.

You see, in the past MLM has earned a bad reputation for itself.

Even today, people just don’t like being pitched these things.

So by hiding under the guise of freedom, you too can have it all.

The trick is to NOT mention a word about Kangen.

Otherwise people will start researching online.

And eventually find blogs like me.

So yeah, keen it on the down low.

That’s how you’ll be working.

The Good Side

Let’s be fair, there is some good elements to The Breakaway Movement.

Things that make this worthy of joining.

Namely, it’s the people you meet.

Seriously good vibes. 😍

(But are struggling for $$$ …just like you.)

And quality training about personal branding.

As well as personal empowerment.

You know, like the Law of Attraction.

Personal development is so helpful.

An industry that literally changed my life.

Though my biggest influence was books, not videos.

And so, you can learn a lot more than just selling water machines.

Which will help empower you to live a better life.

The type of content that can really help you in the journey.

So the best part of The Breakaway Movement is the knowledge.

What you’ll learn through the membership.

As well as the friends you’ll make in the journey.

The water machines can be real pricey.

So park that for now, until the finances are better.

In A Nutshell

You’re looking at a modern-day MLM.

One that targets men and women 18 to 35 through socials.

Without divulging all the facts and figures about the biz.

If you’re looking at a business, this isn’t it.

The Breakaway Movement is great for the education.

Though the community can feel like overly positively.

As for the business model, I’d recommend you look elsewhere.

These days, there are many ways to build an online business.

One that you can own and control, without recruiting.

The type that you can start without the pressure.

Plenty of opportunities out there, including online jobs.

The type that pays you this week.

Consider Upwork and the like.

In this Pandemic, you need income today.

As opposed to taking a wildcard chance.

Ultimately, much of the world is already working online.
