This is a good starting point if you’re not yet ready to invest in a course. It gives you an overview towards the steps involved. Of course, there’s many sub-steps and processes that you need to go through, which is why I recommend purchasing a course.

The BEST Amazon courses for Australians

In 2015 I went looking for an Amazon FBA course. I wanted to do one by an Australian, but there was none in the market. Luckily, today in 2019, that has changed. There’s quite a few. I’ll share in this post what I feel are top 3.

My TOP Recommendations

I have utilized many products and services that make my life infinitely easier. These are the top 5 that you should know about. I’m confident that they’ll make your journey just as easy.

Please understand that I have experience with all of these companies that I recommend and some links are affiliate links where I may or may not make a commission, with no increased cost to you. My recommendation is based upon the helpfulness of these companies as opposed to the tiny commissions that I make if you decide to move forward with their services. Please do not spend any of your money on these services unless you feel that you’ll need them and/or that they’ll assist you in achieving your goals.

Joshua Smith

Flywheel

I host most of my websites on Flywheel, including this one. Why? Because I’ve had troubles with other top competitors in the website hosting space. But not with these guys. And when you’re depending on website reliability, you can’t afford to mess around. I once accidentally deleted my entire blog here, and these guys luckily had several automated backups. Super win! Even if you’re building an Australian website, you can still use Flywheel Hosting as they have a Sydney-based data centre.

GoDaddy Australia

I own numerous Australian domain names and I recommend using local hosting providers. Unfortunately, very few have a solid game-plan. Netregistry is one strong contendor, but I find GoDaddy to be the most competitive, reliable and easiest to use. I’ve been with them since 2011. Their hosting packages aren’t too bad either.

UpWork

To create my online businesses, I didn’t do everything myself and don’t recommend that you do either. I hire people from time to time, from 10 minute jobs to ones that take a couple of days. From website design, to graphic design and video creation, I find that UpWork gives me the most diverse and reliable group of contractors starting from just $5/hr.

Fiverr

When I started out online, budget was an issue when finding quality graphic designers and Fiverr became my favorite tool in the shed. I was able to find hundreds of people who would happily create eBook covers for $5. Look at the book cover below of Fulltime Nomad. Yep, that cost me just $5.

Australian Success Academy

There is no greater investment into your online business than your mindset. Moving from either an employee mindset or traditional small business owner can be challenging, so I feel it’s important to begin with an entrepreneurs mindset. Shane and Jess Fozard are a couple I recommend to many.

ProfitGuru

Amazon provides a free profit estimator for those seeking to evaluate their fees and expected margins. ProfitGuru takes it a step further, and their free version allows up to 200 searches per month. Their paid version doesn’t cost a fortune either.

Books and Reports

I have written numerous books and reports assisting those who desire to create an online business offering a product or service that they’re passionate about.

101 Products to Sell on Amazon

I make all my income from the internet, primarily from selling on eBay and Amazon. Through digging through the Amazon gold mine, I’ve found excellent unique products with strong monthly sales volume that you yourself could sell on Amazon. This has been accumulated from hundreds of hours of personal research to find these winning horses, and this guide is for those who decide to embark on the Amazon journey through Adam Hudson’s Reliable Education through my referral link. That said, I’ve got an excellent FREE guide below which is jam-packed with product ideas to get you started.

Full Time Nomad

fulltimenomad

I wrote this great book after traveling and working my way around Australia. I was initially going to sell it on Amazon but decided to make it FREE for my blog readers. It will provide you with many ways on how you can fund your own adventures around our beautiful country.

  2. Hey Josh,Nice to see an Aussie Amazon seller here.My question is,do you have plans to put your training and create your own course?I think you should do this be helping the fellow Australian mates to get into this business.

    • Hey Sunny, thanks for your positive feedback. I don’t have the desire to train new students every single step from complete beginners to 6 or 7 figure sellers, either now or in the future. It takes a lot of energy and resources to bring a new Amazon course to the marketplace. I’m already doing extremely well simply selling on Amazon and helping out students via email – it’s something that I really enjoy. There’s a few great courses out there that can help you out too, as they have done for me.

      • I think your approach to email mentor support is the best use of your time given such excellent course options already exist. I read somewhere in your blog that you were looking to have a YouTube presence later, that’s something I would personally enjoy seeing come to fruition to compliment the blog you have already developed here. Any ideas when that might be ready for live time Joshua?

        • Thanks Andrew! I actually ordered my YouTube camera and tripod late last night, from Amazon Australia of course. 🙂 They had the lowest price on the Canon G7x Mark II. I expect to kick things off in the next few weeks and I’m currently setting up the studio, plus there will be some content filmed from my upcoming trip to the Canton Fair.

          • Nice camera choice! Yeah getting a glimpse of the Canton Fair would be awesome. This is going to be great.

  3. Hi Joshua,

Thanks for all the good work that you do. I was trying to download your book Fulltime Nomad but I’m not able to do so as it appears as 404 error?

Any chance this can be fixed?
