Alex Ryan Review: Import / Export Hot Product Formula Australia

In this post, I’ll be exposing Alex Ryan and his Import / Export Course. I’ve written this for Australians who are researching his importing & Amazon training programs.

I created this blog many years ago and share my thoughts on opinions. I’ve spent now $40,000+ on wealth creation seminars and events. I’ve made a 5x return on my investment. These things work, but only if you work hard too with the knowledge you have. Otherwise you’ll get nowhere.

Note: Sometimes I use referral/affiliate links on posts and there may be some below.

Today I have 2 successful eCommerce businesses. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. I’m well on track for the 7 figures annually, with realistic expectations for the journey ahead.

My thoughts on Alex Ryan

I genuinely believe Alex is one of the best teachers for importing in Australia. You won’t find me on his Testimonials page, but from the BS I’ve seen over the years, he does come through with some good authenticity.

He’s been importing for over a decade, and has sold thousands of products online. Plus – he’s also knowledge when it comes to offline importing. Like many, he’s become a teacher, since it’s easier to teach importing, than the actual process of running an offline importing business. But you have to go through those hard-yards first.

Alex has my tick of approval for the following reasons:

  • He’s got a small YouTube channel and shares some good content
  • His website is quite professional and better than competitors
  • Alex has been featured in major mainstream media outlets
  • His methods are a cross between importing, eBay & Amazon

Of course, there’s some negatives but I’ll provide those insights within the review on his workshops and courses.

Importing / Exporting Coaching Review

Here’s what you’re probably after today – the insights as to whether Alex Ryan’s training is any good, especially for Amazon sellers.

Alex started as an importer and eBay seller years ago, and has recently pivoted towards Amazon. His results are very good but there are slightly better teachers (with much greater results and reviews) if you primarily want to learn how to sell on Amazon.

Alex Ryan Import Export Coaching Program for Australians
Alex does teach some basic concepts towards building a distribution business

There isn’t so much a course, but a coaching element as well. It’s not cheap, but a good way to fast-track your results. Alex Ryan is an ideal choice if you want coaching towards importing products offline, for eBay and Amazon.

The truth is, whatever these Amazon teachers in Australia provide, can all be found online for FREE. It’s just very hard to find this information laid out in the open, structured and updated. This is why courses are available to purchase, as there are thousands of hours of experience outlined by these teachers.

So you’re really saving yourself a lot of time and frustration by investing in this knowledge. Again – 5x return on my investment, and I’m working towards 10x.

Upsides of Alex Ryan

It’s always good to share the good and the bad in a review. I want people to have the right insights, so they can make the right decision to move forward. Alex Ryan’s importing program is no exception.

Things I like include:

  • Alex has been teaching importing (not Amazon) for the last 10 years
  • Students can go with Alex to China’s Canton Fair for the experience
  • You’ll get some basic help with Alex’s team to find the right product
  • It’s not just Amazon, or eBay, or Amazon, but all 3 combined in 1
  • Alex is a great presenter, and it’s clear that he does have experience
  • You’ll be able to learn a bit for FREE from Alex’s YouTube channel
  • The Import Export Blueprint is only $47 and a helpful to get started
  • Cheaper than Matt Buchel, Brendan Elias and Aus Importing Club
  • Alex will work with you to get 5x your money back (That’s incredible!)
  • It’s a smaller, close-knit community that some other competitors
  • The training does cover each aspect of the importing process
  • Reputation standards as featured in mainstream media publications
  • Alex simply speaks less BS than most other importing teachers
  • This is one teacher making more from importing than selling courses
  • The 200+ episode podcast has info specifically on Australian importing

So on the surface, Alex does appear to be an excellent teacher.

I did find plenty of upsides through my investigations

Downsides of Alex Ryan

Look, there are a few downsides but not many to be honest.

Things I didn’t like include:

  • Alex doesn’t run live events often, with a focus towards online delivery
  • It’s mostly fake (stock-photography) images on his site Alex has updated his site massively since this review was first done
  • You’ll get a 10-day money-back guarantee, but any deposits aren’t refundable
  • Started teaching 10 years ago, but started his Facebook page on 1/09/2019?!
  • Very minimal social media following across all platforms (just starting out) Since updated with lots of content (Phew!).
  • Ideally suited for the younger Australian generation under the age of 45
  • Really focused on just importing, rather than exporting from Australia
  • The book title says ‘…and make a fortune‘ suggesting a get rich quick scheme?
Alex Ryan Australia Importer
The devil is out to get you with these Amazon courses!!! Yes, I’m pulling your leg. 🙂

I do still feel Alex is a great guy. I always share negatives, and no one is immune. This way course creators can use this list to improve their courses and it seems Alex has taken this in his stride. Most importantly, the prospective students such as yourself can weigh up the options.

I’ve never rated a course or teacher at 5 stars, and doubt I ever will. Everyone has room for improvement.

Alex is also connected with Jack Parrotta (Amz Seller Excellence) and so the two of them, whilst sort of competitors is still starting out on their teaching journey. Personally, I would prefer to be in an already established course and community, instead of learning from someone fresh to the teaching world, although Alex’s course certainly is more affordable.

Making a semi-passive income online

I’ve achieved in my early 30’s what would take the average property investor 20 to 30 years to achieve. In fact, it would take 2 million dollars of property completely paid off to get my results. Plus – I have equity to sell if I choose to, as I’m focused on building real businesses as well as generating cash-flow.

Fact: This is where I started, and today enjoy a very good income from selling on Amazon. As I outlined at the start, it wasn’t easy. But it wasn’t so hard either. I just stay committed to the process. I never sugar-coat the process, I’m simply rewarded publicly for the ground-work I do privately.

The laptop lifestyle and selling on Amazon is possible…for those who will actually work.

It’s easy to start an Amazon business. It’s easy to buy a course on how to sell on Amazon. People who ‘sit on the fence’ when looking at an Amazon course really make me laugh.

The true test is actually building an Amazon business – that’s where the challenge lays. Expect to do 200 different things and jump through some hoops to make it happen.

I’m continuing to expand my digital empire, with full plans to be 100% retired by age 40. Even by age 29 I achieved a semi-passive income through multiple websites that I own, plus sales from Amazon FBA.

I don’t write this at all to impress you – I don’t have a fancy car and you won’t find me much on social media. I simply wish to inspire you to set achievable goals, so you too will know where you’re heading.

Closing thoughts

Alex Ryan does have a great course on Amazon, importing and eBay. He’s more in-depth on importing as opposed to Amazon teaching, but that aspect is improving too. I love that it’s a wider approach than just one marketplace.

The main question people have in their mind is whether attending his conference is a good idea. Yes – I would recommend that you attend Alex’s live conference near you in the near future. This way you can make your own conclusive decision.

Certainly, in my opinion, there are better options for Australians looking to learn how to sell on Amazon. These all have a greater community focus. See the TOP 3 Amazon courses for Australians here where Alex recently took the 3rd spot throne from Brendan Elias.

This review is still a work in progress. I did previously had to rank Import Export Coaching a little lower in this review than I hoped to but was recently able to update some things. The power of a blogger. ✌️

Alex is still young, and it’s clearly playing the long game with his Amazon education business. I can see him going places here. It’s therefore assumed that more of these quite mild negatives outlined can be wiped off the board over time, and the content/testimonials will improve. Certainly, his positives far outweigh the negatives.

At this stage, Alex still offers the most affordable and reasonably complete Amazon training in Australia in a more intimate setting. I would certainly recommend students to head along to his workshops and live events.

Should you have any comments or questions, then please outline them below. The more technical questions should go to Alex Ryan himself. I also welcome you to use the FREE resources provided right here on my website without the need to jump on yet another email marketing list.

And remember – this Amazon game is a lot (and I mean a lot) of work over several years. You’ll need a decent amount of capital required to see the big sales numbers.

Nikk Legend: The Trade Academy Review (Plus FREE Course)

This review exposes Nikk Legend and The Trade Academy. It’s a course designed for those that want to learn Forex, day trade and online trading.

I created this blog in 2011 to reveal the truth about courses, seminars, speakers, scams and ‘gurus’ so you can get the real insights. Thousands of people find my blog every single month and appreciate my sincere honesty and integrity. No BS. No sugar coating. Just the hard facts.

You’re probably looking to start your new journey. Passive income on the internet is absolutely possible. I should know – I’ve got multiple streams. There’s even a FREE course provided below to help you start learning today, but more on that later.

Nikk Legend insights

Nikk is a serial entrepreneur from California. He’s achieved some incredible results through starting numerous ventures, primarily around the online trading world. Now he’s dedicated towards helping people do the same.

Nikk live at the office and taking a break from trading

I appreciate Nikk for the following

  • His very successful YouTube channel and a tribe of followers
  • Gives away some of his content (including trading secrets) for FREE
  • Has now established an excellent academy with 3,000+ students
  • Has some cool results through what he has achieved through Forex

I’m excited to see how Nikk evolves over these next few years, both publicly and in his student community. It should (hopefully) be more about the trading strategies in the future, and less about the fast cars and exotic women…not that I mind either. ????

The Trade Academy review

For the purposes of this review, I’m going to get insights from The Trade Academy, also known as Hermes University. This appears to be Nikk’s premier education and mentoring community for aspiring online traders.

Nikk has several options to choose from, including:

  • Key level training from Nikk Legend
  • Simple profit trading system (most popular)
  • Advanced training system (for professionals)
  • The webinar vault (includes many interviews)

Through what you’ll learn, you will be able to expand your knowledge and learn strategies which can massively impact your life. Nikk has interviews from some of the world’s best traders, so you can learn their direct mindset skills.

The Trade Academy review

As you can see, most of the videos are short and straight forward. I appreciate that Nikk leaves a lot of fluff out and gets into the content. If you’re looking for longer videos (boring college lectures) then this might not be the course for you. ????‍♀️

If you think that Nikk Legend and The Trade Academy is a scam, then I understand that. You have every right to be sceptical. Online trading is risky and isn’t guaranteed. ???? You could lose money, and almost everyone does in the early days.

There are some people that make money, and some that won’t. Every type of business opportunity or wealth creation vehicle comes with risk. It really comes down to your education, mindset and risk-tolerance as to whether you’ll be successful. Forex isn’t for everyone at the end of the day.

Pros and Cons

It’s always good to unpack these courses, so that the review can be made true and fair.

I really did like the following:

  • An extensive amount of video content (over the shoulder)
  • A 30 day money-back guarantee for students which is great
  • Reports and reviews, so you can emulate the same trades
  • Continuous updates to the learning library and portal
  • An established community of students from mostly USA
  • A team of staff members to help students in the academy
  • Nikk Legend has a solid social media following, so he’s real
  • The training is not just about trading, but mindset as well

Recently, Nikk came out with a cheaper system here. It’s very minimal and basic content, but at least you’ll get an understanding towards Nikk’s training methodologies and mindset.

While the courses are great, I didn’t like the following:

  • The course is catered for the younger crowd (18 to 30)
  • Not that many testimonials and reviews can be found
  • Some confusion for students, since there are a few courses
  • Supercars make trading seem like a get rich quick gig (lol)
  • The pricing for The Trade Academy isn’t so cheap
  • You’ll need some money set aside to actually start trading
  • You could lose money, as everyone does as a beginner

These downsides are worth noting and considering but also minimal. The training is still quite good. There’s also a reasonably good refund policy.

Also, Nikk Legend has recently launched the Online Trade Academy to the Australian and Canadian markets. There are not that many students yet from these countries, so the course features mostly US-based students. Those in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia might find better options.

Building a REAL business online

Chances are, you’re looking to build your own online empire. We all do! I’ve built 2 successful online businesses. It wasn’t easy, but it also wasn’t that hard either.

Truth: Everything we do comes with risk. Forex trading comes with risk, and so does building a business too. Online businesses have much less risk, and you can start with minimal dollars, but it will likely just take you so much longer.

I decided to partner with the world’s #1 training company. That is – I wanted to find something less risky than online trading, but could still propel my wealth creation. I wanted to build a million-dollar business…and I found the solution!

The answer is right here.

A total of 30,000+ students have gone through this training. That’s 10x more than Nikk’s training. Join the Grant Cardone club, anyone?!

Starting as a beginner

In closing, The Trade Academy by Nikk Legend is reasonably good training. There’s no guarantee of success with anything in life. I praise that this training portal has a 30-day money-back guarantee since some students will get overwhelmed with the concepts of becoming a successful Forex trader.

You’ve probably heard of Forex traders losing everything. A very real risk, especially as a beginner. It’s great that there’s training from experienced traders available. That said, I wanted my money to be parked in a safer place, and I found it here.

I’ve helped inspire thousands of people towards financial freedom and a new pathway for wealth creation. I hope this Online Trading Academy review has been helpful for you. Fundamentally, I really do feel that Nikk has brought some solid educational content to the marketplace.

P.s. Don’t forget to get access to the 100% FREE course available here that has helped tens of thousands of people around the world! There’s students from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, Africa and even South America. It’s for those prepared to work, since anything worth having doesn’t come easy. But I assure you – it’s absolutely worth it!

Australian Investment Education Review: Andrew Baxter the REAL DEAL?

Here is where I’ll examine and expose Andrew Baxter. This review of Australian Investment Education and his trading / Forex training will outline if you should undertake the course and mentoring program on offer.

I’m a real property investor in Australia with some share trading experience. I’ve seen my fair share of bull shit soup and scams over the last 10 years. Daniel Kercher and Rick Otton set my alarm bells off like crazy.

As you’ll discover here, I don’t sugar coat things at all. So let’s jump straight in.

Andrew Baxter as a person

Andrew has been active in the financial markets for the last 20 or so years, and has now spoken with 50,000 globally. It appears from the videos I’ve seen that he keeps things clear and concise, without the technical jargon that other mentors use.

Currently, Andrew’s got a big focus on expanding his educational companies. He’s looking to empower and inspire 100,000 people around Australia to enjoy a prosperous future.

Andrew Baxter

Outside of business interests, Andrew has donated to some of the most known courses in the world. He’s even established The Emily Lowther Foundation For Good in honour of his grandmother.

Australian Investment Education

This is Andrew’s core mentoring business. Pro Trader Uni no longer seems to be around. Unlike some other mentors in this space, Andrew is about using time-tested strategies. If you’re looking for shiny objects, then look elsewhere.

Andrew Baxter has really seen it all through his decades of experience. That is – real life and hands on trading. Plus, as a speaker, he has captivated audiences globally. His educational company ‘Australian Investment Education’ is therefore built on these fundamentals – simplicity and results-based.

Australian Investment Education workshop
An Australian Investment Education workshop for students-only (Held in Queensland)

When looking at Australian Investment Education, I really liked:

  • Strong focus on the Australian students for local support
  • Established student testimonials stretching back 5 years
  • Locally held boot-camps and workshops for students only
  • Direct presentations predominantly from Andrew himself

But then I didn’t like:

  • The courses on offer are a little pricey (Reduces your starting capital)
  • Australia-wide free events don’t provide a lot of training and content
  • There’s 7 different training courses available causing some confusion

Those negatives are minimal, but necessary to create a real and fundamentally accurate review.

Insights into the course

Let’s jump into what you’ll actually be learning. This way you can make an informed decision as to whether you wish to join as a student.

Australian Investment Education Review
Inside the course with Australian Investment Education

Those training courses include:

  • Cashflow on Demand with Covered Calls
  • Options Mastery
  • How to Invest in Shares
  • Futures and Forex Paymaster
  • Trading Psychology and Emotional Control
  • Auto Trading (I’m skeptical about this….)
  • MyFinancianDNA (I’m an advocate of this!)

I praise that this isn’t just an online learning program, but has a strong offline component too and support system for students. Certainly more legitimate than most other educational companies out there. Plus, these guys haven’t just been around for 5 minutes, or show-off fancy exotic cars on YouTube to pull in students.

Closing thoughts

It seems to be, through this evaluation, that Andrew Baxter and his Australian Investment Education firm is the real deal. They do have solid results for their students, and some have left reviews online.

I’d consider them if you’re looking to get a solid education and become an active trader. Personally, I prefer to build eCommerce businesses that bring me mostly passive income month after month, especially those I can start with minimal capital. Plus – I risk significantly less capital.

In life, nothing is guaranteed. Plus, there’s no shortcuts to success either. I’ve literally never heard of an overnight success story. This is me after close to 10 years in wealth creation seminars, and I’ve recently cracked the 6 figure mark. You can too – if you’re prepared to work and take the risk.

Fortress Learning Review: Should you take their course? (Read this now)

I’m going to examine Fortress Learning through this review, particularly their Training and Assessment courses (TAE) for students. You’ll get some insights as to whether you should take one of their training courses.

I started this Australian blog in 2011, and many years on I’m still here. Through this I’ve been able to give fundamental insights towards courses, programs and companies. I’m all about honesty, and I’ve even caused one RTO to shutdown to the power of my blog. They were selling a very low quality courses.

Fortress Learning Insights

This company offers a range of training courses for those in Australia. You can choose either online training, or face to face training with the Fortress Learning educational facility in Toowoomba. Both have pros and cons.

On offer is:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • TAE50116 and TAE50216 Diplomas for upskilling
  • A range of business programs for workplace leaders
  • TAE upgrade programs if you’re missing new units
  • The chance to combine courses for student discounts
Fortress Learning Online Toowoomba TAE

You’ll also get some excellent student help. Their staff really is out there to help students excel, hence why there’s so many positive reviews about Fortress Learning in Queensland. Both those in-person and online praise this company for helping them through the process of educating themselves and investing into their future.

Upsides and Downsides

With Fortress Learning, you will be paying more than some others out there. There are cheap TAE courses, but honestly, you’ll probably get burned or scammed big time like I did with another RTO. Cheap and good quality don’t go in the same sentence. The reason that Fortress charges more is so that they can hire some of the best trainers in Australia.

You’ll be expected to do your part as well. No registered training company in Australia is allowed to do the work for you, but they can support you when needed. So consider going for the classroom-based training rather than online, provided you live in or near Toowoomba.

I guess one downside is that they use some offshore staff from the Philippines. Some people might not like this outsourcing. In most instances, these staff have excellent English though don’t really work side by side with students online much. They have Australian-based Trainers and Assessors. But then again, this outsourcing reduces operating expenses for Fortress Learning, meaning the courses are cheaper for all of us.

Should you do online or offline? Well, it depends. Fortress Learning did do a reasonably comprehensive survey, with the results provided here. Some students prefer to go one way, and others prefer it the other way. It’s really something dependent on your personal situation and learning style, neither is good or bad.

Closing thoughts

These guys are a seriously top-rated outfit, especially for those that live in Toowoomba. Fortress Learning has helped thousands of people throughout Australia with their Training and Assessment courses. I hope you’ll be next.

For those with comments or questions, feel free to drop them below. The more technical ones should go to Fortress Learning directly. I also wish you the best in your journey ahead!
