Neora is a well-known network marketing company based in Brazil with some interesting reviews out there, both positive and negative.
The interesting thing is that people either love or hate this company. Very rarely do you find someone in the middle ground on the issue.
I just happen to be in the middle ground actually. A rare individual who sees the argument on both sides.
Some say it’s fantastic and you should join. Others say it’s a scam and should be avoided, especially with the recent Neora FTC involvement and lawsuit.
So which way should you go? That’s what this review is all about.

I’m guessing your friend or family member is in this scheme and has invited you to have a look?
Like you’ve been to a seminar, conference or webinar. Or it might have started with a phone call.
Look, there are a lot of network marketing companies out there in the world today.
Neora, formerly Nerium International, is certainly one of them.
They distribute skin care products through the MLM (friends and family) model.
Amway popularized this a long time ago. Like back in the 80’s and 90’s this was popular.
Today it’s not so much. That’s because it’s so easy to research the truth, but more importantly, there are just so far better ways to create an income stream.
But of course, the products here are great. If you’re a fan of these products, you should join.
Because as a customer, you might experience some positive benefits.
Not only that, but the live events and the people you meet can be empowering.
At the same time, you’ll either love it or hate it. You could think it’s a scam or the best thing in the entire world.
Whichever way you go, I’m sure that decision will be mindful.
The issue with MLM schemes
Now if it’s your first time to this industry, let me shed some light.
Here’s what you’ll be asked to do:
- Join the opportunity from the person who is already inside.
- Get your friends and family on board (They won’t like it)
- Pay annually for the subscription to be a member in this MLM
- Continue ordering products and encourage others to do the same.
It’s tough and for many reasons. These schemes were very popular years ago, but today it just takes a lot of time, effort and energy to find success.
But at the same time, it’s a relatively low-cost and safer segway into the world of business.
The good news is that people are more so interested in Neora today:

Neora seems to be more popular in Brazil and India, followed by Canada and Vietnam. Australia has minimal traction.
Now, here’s the big problem. The FTC lawsuit regarding Neora claiming that it is, in fact, a Pyramid Scheme. This is disastrous for public relations!
Most Nerium BPs end up making little or no money, and a substantial percentage lose money.

Now to be fair, that’s the reality of all modern-day MLM schemes. They make their money from conferences and recruitments, as opposed to product distribution.
So it’s clear that the Federal Trade Commission is cracking down on this industry.
Because they genuinely care about people having a good experience, both with products and as a business model.
My decision
Now, Neora is good. They have been around a long time.
They strive to help as many people as people to become brand partners and spread this ‘opportunity’, but as the data shows, so few people find success.
I declined my chance to join this company because it just isn’t for me.
My decision is to be on board with something on-trend.
That is: Jumping on a stallion, not a donkey. Something trending UPWARDS.

If the FTC gets involved in a company, it’s time to step back and re-evaluate.
Because there are other companies which have gone on a downward trend.
In fact, the entire industry seems to be in decline right now. It’s just harder today.
Truth be told, any type of business is hard. There is no magic bullet for success.
But if you’re hungry and believe in your strategy, you will make that slow burn to the top.
So Neora could be just the thing for you, as an online opportunity.
Myself, on the other hand, I’ve chosen Amazon as a business model.
