🤑 Net Worth

YouTubers are typically wealthier than they admit, often downplaying their net worth to appear more relatable.

As of 2023, The Feel Good Family has a net worth of $1,270,000 Australian dollars.

This is based on the value of their home, 79 Series Landcruiser, Zone RV Sojourn caravan and online business. So yes, these legendary YouTubers are millionaires.

🤩 Income Streams

eBook sales, YouTube ads, brand sponsorships and affiliate links

🌍 Location

At this time, they have no fixed address. They’re traveling Australia in style!

✌️Common Praise

They’re rational, down to earth, friendly and the highs and lows of their adventures.

❌ Notable Complaints

None that I could find.

🚀 The X-Factor

They don’t use “chicks for clicks” YouTube thumbnails and instead, their channel appeals to families.

📈 Creator Trends

Their channel continues to grow, month over month.

👨🏻‍💻 My Verdict

They’re one of the finest traveling channels in Australia. I’ve learned a ton over these last few months.

About Me

I’m Joshua Smith from Australia. I have been building profitable content sites since 2011.

Today, in addition to managing my own portfolio, I actively help others on their journey.

How much does The Feel Good Family makes and how?

They’re definitely full-timers who are living the dream.

I estimate that The Feel Good Family makes $7,200 per month on YouTube.

This is just enough to sustain their Big Lap of Australia and never need to return to a normal house and job in the suburbs.

They generate this revenue through:

➜ Sales of their popular Ultimate Travel Australia eBook (highly recommended)

➜ Brand sponsorships with numerous 4×4 and camping companies

➜ YouTube ads that play on their channel (although this is minimal)

➜ Affiliate links to products such as Starlink

They are proponents of finding freedom online and leaving the boring 9 to 5 behind.

Creator Praise

Many like their channel because:

➜ Both adults and kids can watch it safely (i.e. no bikinis for views)

➜ They live and breathe authentic freedom by following your passion

➜ Their content is easy to watch and is relatable to many families

➜ They freely share their lessons and things they’ve learned along the way

And for people planning their Big Lap, then their YouTube channel is a wonderful starting point.

Creator Red Flags

The Feel Good Family aren’t scammers. You’ll probably notice in numerous Australian camping Facebook groups about people trying to sell you into a pyramid scheme. This is done through promoting a ‘freedom lifestyle’ when they’re really in an MLM and trying to get $7,000 out of your pocket. Not with Paul and Katie. They’ll never fall for this.

Katie is, however, in an MLM called DoTerra. I’m not a fan of these types of companies, but if I were forced to join a company, this is the one that I’ll pick, especially as Paul and Katie are 100% upfront about their involvement. The products here are very good quality, although it’s harder to make money in this than it was 10 years ago.

Aside from this, I haven’t really seen them create much controversy. Their worst moment was rolling the Landcruiser on the Bloomfield Track:

They rose from this incident stronger than ever.

In addition to Paul and Katie, I’ve written many articles about other offroading influencers here in Australia:

My Verdict

Their success on YouTube so inspires so many of us. From watching so many videos myself, I’ve learned so much despite already doing a half-lap of Australia.

I’ve found also key lessons that can propel our lives forward, both on a business and personal level.

My key takeaways include:

➜ You don’t need an expensive rig to see Australia

➜ The people you meet along the way are incredible

➜ Get out there while you still can

➜ Open your mind to new opportunities

And being online is a genuine pathway towards freedom and living the dream now.

However, heavily research any opportunity you’re presented thoroughly before committing.

I’ll catch you out there!
