Tanner J Fox Review: Is 7 Figure Machines Worth It?

There are now dozens of Amazon FBA courses in the marketplace, including the 7 Figure Machines training created by Tanner J Fox. But is it any good?

I’ve done numerous courses in the past. This gives me the chance to see if a course actually has all the content that students need to get a product successfully launched. It’s really that simple.

Aren’t sure about 7 Figure Machines created by Tanner J Fox? That’s why I wrote this detailed course review. Plus – are there cheaper alternatives? Yes.

Let’s begin

Thoughts on Tanner J Fox

There are some questionable YouTubers around. You know – they drive exotic cars and say “making money on Amazon is EASY”. It’s totally BS, you know.

And the thing is: Tanner does have a nice car. And yes, he talks often about Amazon FBA. But you know what? He shares a lot of great stuff for free.

I believe he is genuine. It’s quite clear that he gives away so much great content and has a lot of knowledge when it comes to the marketplace. In particular, product research.

That’s just 1 of 100+ examples here. Now truth be told it’s not hard to find these types of products. I’ve found plenty. 😉

But if you’re a total beginner to the world of selling on Amazon FBA, you’ll be surprised. Such simple products can really bring home the bacon.

I like that Tanner is active on his social media channels. Also, he gives you a free taste of his training through shorter courses, which then lead on to his paid courses.

One such course is 7 Figure Machines. Another is Affiliate Marketing Masters with Ryan Hildreth. I haven’t done the affiliate course (which strangely has NO refund policy?!) so let’s just focus on the initial FBA course. Most people are interested in that one as Amazon is often easier than affiliate marketing.

And finally, it’s so good that you can learn for free upfront. This gives you a taste of the individual. A lot of other people hide a lot of stuff as much as they can.

7 Figure Machines review

This is Tanner’s flagship Amazon course. And upon opening it up, it’s clearly a great one.

I’m pretty happy with what I’m seeing. The blueprint is ideal for total beginners.

Now, the course content isn’t as long as some other courses out there in the market.

Like the best FBA courses I’ve done are in the 40 to 50 hour range, often with 100+ videos.

On the other hand, I counted around 70 videos inside 7 Figure Machines. It’s still going to take you a few days minimum to get through.

Going through the course content a few days ago

Luckily, the pricing is lower than some of those premium courses out there.

Plus, you’ll still learn the basics and more than enough to get yourself live on Amazon.

And I don’t recommend you binge-watch like YouTube. Get out pen and paper.

Let’s have a look at the modules within this FBA course in great detail.

Module 1

You know with other courses, the teachers just waste too much time.

Like: “Welcome to my course! My name is such and such. Let me talk absolutely nothing about Amazon for the next 2 hours…” 🙄

Come on…give us a break! We’ve bought an Amazon course to actually learn FBA.

Like what we want to learn especially is product research. What do we pick?

And you wanna know the best part about Tanner J Fox’s FBA course? 😁

He jumps straight into product research! Lessons right there in Module 1.

Literally – no messing around like the other guys. Straight into the content.

Because you’re buying it to learn and implement right away, right?

You’re really not interested in messing around. You’re becoming serious.

And that’s the thing about this Amazon business gig. It’s really serious.

You need to treat it like a real business. That’s why taking a course is important.

Instead of binge-watching Youtube videos for hours with outdated content.

Anyway, rant over. Tanner J Fox is the only person out there taking this approach.

Like Product Research right there in Module 1. I like it! Others should do it.

Module 2

Boom! We’re into the next phase of your Amazon journey immediately! Shipping.

This module is a bit less engaging. 🤷‍♂️ I guess because it’s a little boring.

That’s not Tanner’s fault though. Logistics is enough to put anyone asleep.

He talks about how to get your product from China into Amazon USA.

Not only that but how to do product inspections before it leaves port.

This way you can be certain that your products are genuinely good quality.

Not only this, but Tanner talks about product logos and packaging here.

It’s a bit odd though as that could be put into another module quite easily.

Anyway, very good content again. About 2 hours of videos featured.

Module 3

In this one, Tanner goes into the deeper stuff on how to create a listing.

It’s always a bit technical this part. This is why you gotta buy a course.

‘Cause no one is teaching this stuff on YouTube at all. If they are, it’s outdated.

The content here is great. Pretty much everything that you need to win.

I just wish Tanner went into the finer details on product photography.

Plus the more advanced elements of an effective PPC campaign.

That aside, some great content to be found inside this one.

Module 4

The secret to winning on Amazon is a good launch campaign.

That way you can spike Amazon’s algorithm and get to page 1.

There wasn’t anything new or groundbreaking in this module.

It’s also a bit shorter at just over 1 hour of video content.

But for beginners, this is all you’re really going to need.

Module 5

I can’t help but think that Module 5 could be merged into another one.

Because it’s all about how to get around Seller Central and Shipping Plans.

Module 3 would have been perfect. No need to split this one out here.

Aside from that, good basic content on how to get through this one.

Module 6

I mentioned before about the lack of PPC in Module 3. I later found it here.

Again, this stuff should be merged together. But anyway, 1st world problem. 😅

I like Tanner’s approach in this module of 7 Figure Machines. It’s quite clean.

More importantly, it’s all white hat. Exactly what a beginner needs to stay safe.

Module 7

A really odd-ball. Just one video about bringing it all together with your product.

Like I didn’t mind it…but just…odd. I won’t spoil what’s here though. It’s good!

Module 8

7 Figure Machines is designed for those that want to build a brand.

As opposed to other courses which are “sell stuff online” approaches.

So it’s good that Tanner covers Brand Registry and category ungating.

Not only that, but scaling into international marketplaces with FBA.

Only about 1 hour of content and on-point for beginner sellers.

Module 9

While Amazon is a great place, some customers don’t frequent there.

So using Facebook ads can help drive people into seeing your products.

And the good news is that Tanner teaches Facebook ads right here.

The content is brief. Like other courses go into more details on this.

But it doesn’t matter so much if you’re starting out fresh with FBA.

Especially as most sellers never actually run FB ads anyway. It’s expensive!

I’m just glad that Tanner J Fox includes FB ads as a core module in his course.

Module 10

Any videos that couldn’t fit inside other modules are featured here.

The thing that is unique about 7 Figure Machines is Tanner’s honesty.

He shares his biggest mistakes on Amazon here, so you can avoid them.

I won’t even share those mistakes here. You gotta buy the course to learn.

(No spoiling the best parts. This is one of the best inside the course!)

Not only that but discussions on taxes and liquidating products.

More importantly, how to start with a limited launch budget.

Module 11

The thing about other Amazon ‘gurus’ is that they won’t share everything.

Some of them sell you an expensive course. You think you’ve got it all.

Only after 2 months, you realize that they want to upsell you more shit.

It’s frustrating, right? Can’t they just share everything upfront for students?

The great thing about Tanner is that he gives all his resources and templates.

Want to email suppliers? There’s a template for that in the course.

Need to calculate profit margins? Tanner includes an awesome Excel spreadsheet.

Want the actual step by step of what to do? Included is a really good flowchart.

Getting negative reviews removed? 7 Figure Machines covers that in detail.

Essentially you’re getting the resources of an established Amazon seller.

Without having to pay up an additional amount for this stuff later on.

Well done on this, Tanner! You’ve set yourself apart with your training.

Content summary

I like this Amazon course. 7 Figure Machines is designed for winners.

Tanner J Fox 7 Figure Machines

The content is great but could be so much better. Especially longer.

Other courses do offer a lot more video tutorials and overall content.

But at the sub $500 price-point, it’s relative to the content. Or better.

Tanner should have this priced up a bit higher in my opinion. 😃

It’s a great course with solid content created by a real FBA seller.

Aside from the mis-matched content, the core is pretty good.

Like there’s plenty to get you started selling on Amazon today.

The lighting and sound while great….could be that bit better.

Especially when you’re paying up for 7 Figure Machines.

Then again, just another 1st world problem that I created. 🙃

For the price you pay, it’s a great FBA course for beginners.

A free alternative

The thing about these Amazon courses…is the money “they” make from it.

You know it and I know it. They especially know it too. It’s big business today.

Like you can make a small fortune from selling an Amazon course, as some do.

The best part is that Tanner has one of the cheapest Amazon courses around.

He’s making so little from it, and clearly more from his FBA business today.

That’s something that I really respect. A man with true results from selling.

So I would certainly recommend that you take his training course. It’s great!

Then again, some people are lacking the capital to get started selling.

And others, well…they just keep messing around. For months and months.

Until they find an irresistible offer. One created by an Amazon veteran.

You know…I found this guy. 8 figure results. 5 brands. A true Amazon veteran.

He’s been in this industry now for 20 years. That’s some incredible experience!

And you know what? He has a course. The full A to Z. And it’s all free.

Like every single step. He partnered with his favorite software platform.

Because he wanted people just like you to be able to get started on it today.

The final verdict on Tanner J Fox

It’s quite clear that Tanner walks the talk. His YouTube and course are legitimate.

I’m really glad that I found him and will stay subscribed for the long term.

One of those rare people that actually sell profitably on Amazon FBA.

Inside the course are thousands of genuine students all working hard.

And that’s the thing about Amazon: It is hard work, but it’s worth it.

So I would certainly recommend 7 Figure Machines. He’s done well!

Not only that, but it’s one of the cheapest FBA courses available today.

And while it’s shorter on content, it has all pieces to the puzzle.

More than enough to get you live there and selling on Amazon.

But if you’re anything like me, you love a crazy good offer.

Where you can learn from a total Amazon titan. 8 figure results. 💪

That my friend….is the type of mentor that I look up towards often.

One that has an extensive FBA course….and it’s all FREE!
