PropertyNow Evaluated
These guys aren’t either real estate agents and property managers. Instead, they utilize their services to help you sell your property on popular websites such as RealEstate.com.au and others. They have presences that cover most of Australia, with thousands of happy clients.
You could potentially save yourself tens of thousands of dollars in commissions. Super praise for that!
Here’s what I liked:
- You’ll save a lot of money in typically high real estate commissions
- There’s some support 7 days per week from their team
- You will be 100% in control, even if you’re not tech-savvy
- Everytime you find an interested buyer, they send you details
- You’ll score a free ‘For Sale’ sign for your front yard (Awesome!)
- They have been running since 2004
Then I didn’t like:
- It’s a little bit harder to sell a property this way
- Buyers sometimes expect a bigger price discount
- You’ll have to deal with the buyers personally
- Expect to ‘dress up’ for every buyer appointment
These downsides or negatives aren’t really the fault of PropertyNow. They’re a seriously good outfit. It’s the particular strategy of selling your own house without an agent requires some more preparation. But you can save a huge amount in commissions too!
The truth revealed
You probably read that title and were curious. Let me provide you with the information you’re looking for, which they won’t tell you.
This could happen to you: You list the property with PropertyNow and after weeks with dozens of interested buyers through your home, you still don’t have it under contract or with a tenant on board. Tough spot to be in! I would recommend an agent if you want to sell faster.
Most people across Australia however haven’t had this experience at all. It’s been quite easy, a real testament to the value that PropertyNow brings to the table for Australians. There doesn’t seem to be an easier way than to use their services to get your property either rented or sold, without the hassles of real estate agents.

They’ve been in business for over a decade. This isn’t a fly-by-night operation at all. They’ve even won awards for the volume of positive reviews of PropertyNow that you’ll find on quite a number of websites.
