Pampered Chef Consultant EXPOSED: It isn’t a scam, but 100% an MLM

Yes – I’ve gone and did it! I’ve exposed what Pampered Chef actually is in this review. It’s DEFINITELY not a scam or pyramid scheme, they are a network marketing company. Through this post I’ll provide you with insights as to whether you should join.

I created this blog in 2011, and since then it has been read by thousands of people. It was born to create leads for MLM schemes, but I quickly learned the TRUTH about the industry.

Quite simply: very few people make money with these deals, and morally, it wasn’t right for me to continue. After lots of researching, I found what actually works, and today I spread the message far and wide!

So whilst I’m not a former, current or future distributor for Pampered Chef, I do know some fellow Australian distributors. They’ve been able to relate experiences to give me insights, so that I can pass them directly on to you within this review.

Let’s begin!

What is Pampered Chef

Through research, it has been established that Pampered Chef is 100% an MLM company. They sell a range of kitchen products using the friends and family distribution model.

The pricing is often higher than what you’ll find in other stores, and the income stated is exceptional. The thousands of people making no money stay hush hush!

Pampered Chef
I appreciate those who research schemes like Pampered Chef for authenticity

There’s some that claim Pampered Chef is a scam or a pyramid scheme. Now, I really don’t believe that is true. They do have a fundamental product line that everyone uses (they sell personal kitchen products too) but some people do get frustrated with the company and the so-called ‘business opportunity’ that is presented. This has me confused since it’s quite a legitimate company.

Some distributors in other companies might use unsubstantiated income claims, causing people to be fearful of this one. The industry as a whole relies on hype and unrealistic expectations on representatives. Everyone starts off making no money, and for most people, this won’t actually change.

Pampered Chef looks like it’s quite different with a desire to stand out for its distributors.

Countries and Products

Pampered Chef is open in the United States, Germany, Canada and Australia. They use the party plan sales strategy which doesn’t really work that well today. They also provide websites for distributors, but all the websites look 99.9% the same. Not exactly unique.

They have great products. I particularly like their bake ware range, it looks great despite being a little overpriced. You see – I’ve found the same quality on Amazon for less money. Free shipping too, and no monthly re-orders!

The MLM distribution model deters people away often as no one wants to sell to friends or family anymore. In a world of social media in-authenticity, we value real relationships more than ever. I’d rather preserve my network.

Pampered Chef: A FULL TIME income

You’ve probably searched for Pampered Chef review simply for this one question: ‘Can I make a FULL-TIME income?’ – and rightly so! It’s good that you’re doing your research. Even better – that you’re looking at something to do so you can quit your job. Wise choice my friend!

The harsh truth is that it’s hard to make money with network marketing schemes such as Pampered Chef nowadays. The internet makes it all too easy for the people who you want to sign up to do their own research first. Just like you are right now!

These MLM schemes were extremely successful in the 80’s and 90’s, especially due to Amway. Unfortunately, eCommerce is dominating the world, and the laptop lifestyle is significantly easier with a real business model. Especially a business model that you own.

Some facts about Pampered Chef:

  • You’ll have to pay big money to join with no guarantees of income
  • Expect to sell kitchen products to friends and family ( so awkward…)
  • The vast majority of representatives eventually leave these schemes
  • It’s not a pyramid or a scam, but some distributors do get frustrated
  • Those making the big money are shown, not those making just a bit

At the top of the pyramid, there are a select few that started years ago who are today making their income from the many at the bottom. To climb, it’s going to take serious guts.

Much like any type of business model – it takes work. Just that MLM is a bit different. It’s VERY hard to get to the top, and there are different BUSINESS MODELS out there. You just have to know where to look.

And guess what? I found it! It’s not a secret either. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you RIGHT NOW. The door is about to open.

Building your REAL business

This is the best part. If you’ve read this Pampered Chef review to this point, I applaud you. It takes serious focus after every single distraction in the world. I’m glad that you’re here, and ready to take your life seriously.

Building any type of business isn’t easy. I should know – I’ve built 2, and there’s more coming. But if you’ve got the right strategy and training, then it isn’t hard either. You just have to have some commitment, capital, persistence and patience. Go for the long term game plan.

I said that I wouldn’t keep it a secret. So…drum roll…here it is!

This opportunity is Amazon. Yes – just Amazon. Selling on their platform is now available for people from most countries in the world.

[elementor-template id=”16718″]

Amazon recently became the #1 company in the world, and for good reason – their customer service is PARAMOUNT to their success. Customers know, love and trust Amazon. You can actually become an Amazon seller yourself, just like I am! The door is definitely open on this one.

Starting today on a new path

Getting started as a seller is challenging, but it’s significantly easier with a 100% Amazon training course available here. This is designed for beginners, and you can start the training right now! If you’ve ever wanted to create your own proper business, then this is the perfect way to do it.

Benefits include:

  • You’ll actually OWN your own business, and you can sell it later
  • There’s almost no limits on the types of products that you can sell
  • People aged 18 to 65 can join, and the course is available for them
  • Your friends and family don’t even need to know about it at all
  • You’ll be able to expand into other overseas Amazon Marketplaces
  • Best of all – you can fully brand the business as yours and your style

There’s dozens who have left Pampered Chef and have started their own Amazon businesses as well. They did it for these key reasons. They got sick of the control and stigma that surround these schemes. It was time for them to do something more legit. That is – a real business that they own, and not building a company with unpaid customers.

I hope you have the courage to do that. To start a new path, to begin your own journey. Before it’s too late. The train has left the station on these MLM schemes, but the Amazon seller train is still waiting for passengers. Have you got a ticket? I did!

Closing thoughts

The world has changed. You need to change with it. These network marketing schemes are unlikely to be around in 10 years time. The times are changing very fast.

Amazon, however, will be full steam ahead. I mean – they’re already the world’s #1 company, and for good reason. They’ve got the strongest reputation out there, and they genuinely care for the customer. They’ve got 300 million customers world wide.

How many customers does Pampered Chef have? Much much much much less. (For emphasis)

There’s plenty of chefs and previous reps that have decided to sell on Amazon instead

Pampered Chef has excellent products. It can work to make you a full-time income. But it’s going to be hard. In fact, all business models require a lot of energy.

I’d highly recommend an alternative strategy, and particularly, the strategy that’s working for me. It can work for you if you’ve got realistic expectations.

Start today on your new journey. I’ve opened the door just for you, and it’s up to you to walk through it. I know what I’d be doing…!

  1. I believe in me, too! And PC is a great way to earn extra income and be able to replace your regular full time job! Almost 80% of our products are $35/under and include our best sellers! Can you find something cheaper (regarding our more expensive items), sure. But you get what you pay for. Most PC products come with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE. That pizza stone you bought in 1985 just cracked in the oven? Guess what? We’ll send you a new one. No questions asked. PC is still very viable, relevant and sought after. We’re celebrating 40 years right now and have learned to harness the power of the internet with nary a lag. It’s a very exciting time to be a PC Consultant!

    • But what’s the real point of PC? Even if the company made the absolute best products on the face of the earth (they don’t), it’s still a total hassle. You are constantly harassed by “friends” and invited to PC parties. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t want to go to a party with a bunch of strangers just to get a sales pitch and a bunch of mediocre tips. It’s absolutely tacky and desperate.

And let’s talk about the products. They are incredibly overpriced and the quality is questionable at best. Why on earth would someone pay $75 for a shoddy knife set when you could just buy decent German knives for the same price or get ceramic knives from Williams Sonoma for a third of the price—oh, and accept lifetime returns as well, and you don’t have to pack everything, pay for shipping, and then wait a month for replacements.

PC sells an illusion of quality and opportunity to people lack who lack both. Companies that sell luxury goods don’t have to convince people to beat down their friends doors and guilt them into buying products. When is the last time the Neiman Marcus lady created a Facebook page, put up a bunch of dumb gifs, and pressured people into attending a party or buying something RIGHT NOW? When is the last time you saw sponsored posts or display ads from Williams Sonoma?

The answer is never. Companies that sell good products don’t need to use high pressure sales tactics. They don’t need to manipulate people.

At the end of the day, you bought into the PC hype. You were taken and that’s fine because a lot of people are. But let’s be honest about what Pampered Chef is selling; mediocre garbage at a 250 percent markup in order to push you a few bucks every time you rip off a friend.

  2. This month was my highest earning month. A little over 2k. Average month is about $700. I have NO team and I simply do this myself. I do not sell to family, only if they ask…and All of my business is Online. But I appreciate your insight.

  3. “You’ll have to pay big money to join with no guarantees of income”— Big Money? the kits start at $99 and are valued at $400 plus– not a ton of money and you have ZERO minimums to meet to keep that kit and walk away. Definitely worth the shot in my opinion. I do this very part time and have made between $200-$750 a month for the first year and earned a ton of free products– all on Facebook. Yes, you have to spend some time and give some effort (i spend about 5 hours a week on my PC business) but I enjoy it!
