I’ve seen a lot of paid survey sites like Octopus Group pop up in Australia so I had to write this review. After all, I found a better opportunity.

It looks like they’re really shaking up this industry, especially as they have more available surveys.
What I liked is the number of different retailers that you can get gift cards with. Plus, you can refer your friends to earn more.
Best of all, they are an Australian company. Some of these survey sites are actually owned by blokes in the US.
So it seems like Octopus Group is as legit as they come.
But is it all that green and rosy?
The truth about survey sites
Some people get started right away without thinking about it.
Because it seems easy. You can simply register and start taking online surveys.
But is it all really that easy? I mean – surely there has to be a catch. Something we’re totally missing.
…and there is!
Taking online surveys can be frustrating in a few ways.
Firstly, you’ll spend all day long taking long and drawn out surveys.
Next, you’ll have to meet a minimum payout figure to actually get your gift card.
Finally, you’ll need to give them lots of your private info that you wouldn’t tell anyone else.
Like, it really infringes on your privacy.
Then there’s the big problem that I heard about with some of these survey sites…
Some of them will ban members who make too much money.
Because they know that there are people who are on these sites just to make money.
What they really want you to do is actually spend money with one of their survey providers.
Like insurance, finance and those types of offers.
They soon work out which members have made too much.
One day you log into your account and everything is gone. Your balance is $0.
But you were only a couple of dollars away from making that next threshold. Ouch!
It sucks. But there is some good news.
