We recently joined Gregg Braden on a journey in Mexico and here is my review.
The tour was organized by Power Places Tours and the entire 2 weeks were absolutely incredible! We were able to do activities that we unlikely would have been able to experience without Gregg and his contract tour management company.
Most days we had lectures and presentations with Gregg in addition to seeing a lot of Mayan archaeological sites. Most were popular but some were almost deserted, allowing us to have our own spiritual experience. Gregg provided plenty of on-bus commentary to everyone and was more than happy to ask questions.
The only drawback of course to join Gregg Braden and Power Places Tours is the cost to do one of these tours. And if you Google for Power Places Tours, you will find some negative reviews from past attendees. It seems that Gregg Braden isn’t the problem, but instead his tour management company ‘Power Places Tours’ is referred to as a scam because of the conditions under which travelers must agree to.
Overall, I would still recommend that you do a journey at least once in your lifetime with Gregg Braden or another spiritual teacher. He has an event coming up in Peru in 2014 that should be a very enlightening experience!
