You’ve probably seen Raiken Profit talk about this dropshipping course on his YouTube channel and you’re curious. Does it really work?
In my opinion, very few will ever make it with eBay dropshipping, because the margins are just too tight nowadays. There are a few lions at the top making the big money, with some scraps left for the rest.
Dropshipping as a business model
You’ve probably found Paul on YouTube and are curious about this business model.
I mean, it sounds easy, right? Sit on your computer and simply upload products online.
Then when it sells, purchase it from somewhere else for lower then make the margin.
Some say 30% whilst others say 20%. Then you’ve got the veterans saying 10% if you’re lucky.
Because it’s 2019 where dropshipping has become more challenging. Competition is rife!
Since so many beginners have started the journey the last few years. There isn’t much left on the table.
Then you’re dealing with eBay. I sold 3,000 items in 18 months selling on eBay. Wasn’t easy!
Plus, a lot of these ‘gurus’ lie to you saying it’s going to be cheap to get started. Less than $100.
When in total reality, it’s so much more.
- There is the cost of starting your own website
- You’ll get hit with PayPal fees at every transaction
- The is a high product return-rate with dropshipping
- Prices often race to the bottom, with very little margin
- Advertising via PPC is an expensive endeavor to begin
So you could’ve spent that time instead on building a real physical products business. One where you actually own the inventory yourself.

Inside the course is pretty good. I was quite surprised actually! Well laid out and quite a bit of content compared to others.
What I’ve found is:
- 75+ training videos that are step-by-step divided into 17 modules
- Access to the private Facebook group which is actually full of newbies
- Content on how to get product ideas, where to find them and how to list
So let’s have a quick look:

This is an introduction module.
If you’ve been through courses before, you can probably skip this.
Module 2
More basics that is really just geared for beginners.
You can probably skip these too if you already have eBay and PayPal accounts.
Module 3
Here is where we start the content series.
The product research modules are probably the 1 thing that everyone is searching for.
Module 4
Even more good content. Really basic, but ideal for beginners.
I particularly liked Lesson 4.2 in the course.
Module 5
The 5th module is really catered for scaling your business.
This is as far as I’m up to in this course. I’m only half-way through!
Truth about the course
Truth be told, that much of this is found in YouTube videos. There are dozens of channels where this same content is shared for free, so you don’t have to invest
In fact, the Dropshipping Titans course is mostly the basics such as how to setup an eBay and PayPal account. Surely most of us can just do this ourselves?

All in all, it’s an alright course for the price tag. It could be so much better. More content for sure, especially the stuff you can’t find on YouTube (but there isn’t much left…)
Dropshipping successfully in 2019
It’s not so much the course, as it is the student. You really need to be driven to succeed in anything. Because it takes a lot of courage to step through and work consistently for years.
We hate being told that it’s hard, but it is. Building an online business takes a lot of hard work, capital, time, effort and energy. I should know, as I have more than one.
So often we’re looking for the instant success that business models like dropshipping bring. Plus, the ‘gurus’ tell us it’s easy to make $10k/month.
It’s simply harder today. All business models are harder today than it was 5 years ago. In my opinion, that gives even more reason why you should start something today.
As for dropshipping, many decide to pass. It’s full of beginners and competitors who want to screw you on price. PPC ad-spend on social media has risen too.
I don’t believe for a moment that anyone has anything ‘ground-breaking’ in any course out there. They occasionally will have something you might not have found yet on YouTube.
With online education, you either pay with your time or pay with your money. Either way, you will pay. Spending weeks or months finding the information is hard, hence why courses are so powerful.
Pass on the opportunities that promise quick-wins. Because they are seldom found in this world. Instead, focus on building an online business that prospers for the long term which can feed you for years.
Learning for FREE
As I’ve mentioned, there is a lot of content on dropshipping that you can learn for free on YouTube. Amazon FBA is less so, since it’s a constantly changing beast and information can outdate itself quite quickly.
So it’s best to learn Amazon through a paid course. Unfortunately, most people just don’t have the capital required to fully fund a proper start on their FBA business.
This is why they look at dropshiping first. But you can actually learn an entirely different business model for free, without outlaying thousands.
Where you can build your own content through authoritative websites. This is called affiliate marketing. There is competition here, but also a lot of opportunity.

The truth is: dropshipping has massively changed in 2019. It’s now much harder than what it was years ago. The YouTube gurus are finally catching up.
But it’s a bit too late for the students, for this ‘here today, gone tomorrow’ opportunity. I’ll always advocate that you find something reliable for the long term.
In summary
Paul does have a good course – I’ll give him that. It covers the basics of starting your journey on eBay and Amazon.
Steve Raiken and himself have done a great job collaborating together. You’ll get some awesome bonuses if you join with Steve.
But there are hidden costs involved with dropshipping. There are just things you haven’t seen before.
Plus the refund rate is quite high. Many people do get banned, as poor customer service can really kill your business overnight.
