Paul Blackburn Review: Are His Training Programs Worth It?

I attended a workshop with Paul and Mary Blackburn with 70 other attendees and decided to write this review to share my experiences. Should you attend?

A good question to ask. After all, you want to know if he’s the real deal. You know – can he actually help you during these challenging times?

Because from what I’ve seen in Australia, there are plenty of legitimate trainers out there. Then there are those rogue fly-by-night operators who leave us with a sour taste.

That in itself tarnishes the reputation of those doing it properly. Unfortunately, cutting corners happens in every industry known to man.

So I’m going to provide both my opinion and experience with this trainer.

Paul Blackburn Review

I attended Paul’s 3-day weekend workshop some time ago. I was certainly one of the youngest, if not the youngest in the audience. In fact, the average age was closing on 50 years old.

Since that workshop, I went on to consume a lot (and I mean a lot…) of personal development materials. Hundreds of books, plenty of YouTube and a few dozen conferences and workshops.

Why is this important? Because I can fairly compare Paul’s offering from the others in the market, instead of saying “Yeah it was a great weekend”.

The weekend consisted of:

  • Emotional healing from past wounds
  • Getting our mind right about money
  • Touched on the law of attraction (a bit voodoo these days)
  • How to better deal with challenging people

As I was new to the entire self-help world, I did find it challenging to properly assimilate the information. Then again, I’ve attended Tony Robbins which was more challenging.

The weekend workshop

Now the million-dollar question is: Should you attend his workshop?

It really depends on your experience. If this is the first time you’re going into a training or personal development program like this, then you’ll get a lot out of it.

Paul Blackburn Conference

Paul Blackburn has certainly geared his training towards beginner and intermediate level attendees. In fact, most of his life coaches (he has dozens now since 2011) started out just like you.

However, if you’ve already done quite a bit of NLP and other training, then you probably won’t find as much value. That isn’t to say that Paul is bad, but you may not get an “AHA!” moment and might leave feeling a bit disappointed.

Again – it depends on you and your existing journey through life.

Money issues

While he’s geared towards self-help and emotional mastery, Paul talks a lot about resolving money issues. In fact, his old program was called Resolving the Money Riddle. It’s fair to say that he’s well experienced and the bulk of his audience likely has money problems too.

Most people in Australia do have money issues as well. My #1 recommendation in 2020 is to build an online business where you control the outcome.

What I noticed is that Paul doesn’t really teach the “How” of making money, instead, he focuses on removing mental roadblocks. This is great as there are numerous strategies available.

Just keep in mind that he often runs his life coaching training workshops in Canberra though the event I attended was in Adelaide when I lived there many years ago.

One of the best things I ever did was learn about selling on Amazon. In fact, I created some fantastic guides to help beginners just like you.

In summary

Paul Blackburn has been running his company for 10+ years now. By now we can see that he’s quite clearly established.

Is he for everyone? No. In fact, many people would ignore someone like this.

In the 10 years that he’s been running Beyond Success Pty Ltd, it’s clear that the bulk of his students has been pleased with positive reviews left.

That in itself is part of the recipe for success – simply do something for long enough while overdelivering on value.

My 5 Favourite Amazon FBA Seller Conferences to Attend in 2020

This selling journey can be boring and would be depressing without top Amazon FBA conferences to attend. It’s where the magic lies – networking and lessons.

I’ve been to multiple Amazon seminars over the years. All have been absolutely fantastic with minimal upsell pitching.

I do recommend flying to Amazon seller conferences, even internationally!

So in this blog post, I’ll be showcasing my top favourite Amazon FBA conferences that I look forward to attending in 2020.

Amazon FBA conferences are worthwhile

Being able to network with people just like you on the journey is worth the event price plus travel expenses. Every single dollar. I’ve come away from every event with a positive ROI.

Essentially, they are worthwhile if you’re taking this journey seriously. As these events are priced up, they attract real Amazon FBA sellers.

These 5 listed conferences are all designed for big business builders. After all, you’re not looking to make pocket money or mess around. You have the next 3 years to build a sensational Amazon business, so let’s examine my top 5.

SellerCon

SellerCon is the baby of Amazing Selling Machine, and at this time of writing, is the world’s #1 Amazon course. Not only have they produced more student results, but their training is simply world class.

SellerCon is run once per year in either Las Vegas or Miami. I previously attended SellerCon and shared my experiences. No doubt I’ll be back for 2020, and yes, from Australia.

Retail Global

This isn’t an Amazon-specific conference, but an eCommerce conference designed for established marketplace sellers. Shopify, eBay and Amazon are all here.

As a high-level event, you really need to push through some sales numbers before attending. Beginners are likely to get overwhelmed, but those experienced will get a lot of value.

Prosper Show

The Prosper Show is geared for the current or future million-dollar Amazon seller. Like SellerCon, they run this in Vegas.

It isn’t cheap, and nor is the attendee caliber. But if you’re dead-set serious about building a big and profitable Amazon business, this is the one.

Reliable Education

Australians will find the best bang-for-buck with Reliable Education Summits which are held once per year. This is a chance to network with your fellow students.

Unlike every other seminar here, this is a closed door event to students only by intention. This is both to protect them from tyre-kickers and also create exclusivity.

Global Sources Summit

If you’re going to the Canton Fair, then this is an excellent seminar to attend. Held in Hong Kong, the Global Sources Summit is an event created just for Amazon sellers.

Held at the same time as the Global Sources trade fair, it is a great opportunity to hear from real Amazon sellers in the 6, 7 and 8 figure range. Speaking at this event is quite the honor and a rigorous process to get accepted for.

Closing on events

I would highly recommend that you get to at least an Amazon seller conference in 2020. Even if you have to travel long distance, as I have to, the experiences are always worth it.

Because this is a lonely journey otherwise. Sitting in front of the computer and ordering samples and inventory from China. Inputting data into your listing. Dealing with irate customers who want to return your products.

I believe this is an introverts game. I was born for this, but not everyone is, especially the extroverts. Those that are social butterflys really do struggle.

Amazon FBA conferences can be just the solution you need, to pull through the hard times and accelerate the growth in your business. I see them as an investment in my future, as opposed to a business expense. One that will pay me for years to come, much like an Amazon business does.

Samuel Leeds Course Review: Is he any good?

Time to expose Samuel Leeds and his property course through this in-depth review. Some people call it a scam, given his presentation style.

But is it really? It appears to be legit and good quality training that can help everyday people become financially free through property investing. At least, from the onset.

At least, that’s what the YouTube videos and Samuel Leeds reviews would have you believe. But we need to investigate further.

Let’s look further, to see if this is any good.

Samuel Leeds evaluated

In my opinion, yes, it is good quality training. There is some hype and sensationalism, as with much of these ‘get rich quick’ opportunities. That’s why you need to do your research.

It starts with the YouTube channel. Where you can get a real feel for what Samuel teaches.

From here, most people are interested in the training. Samuel runs the Property Investors Crash Course which is a free event.

Samuel Leeds Property Investors UK

It appears he shares some great content:

  • How beginners can purchase properties without experience or money
  • Exactly how property investors can get double digit returns on investments
  • What type of property to buy and exactly where to buy it on the low
  • Creative financing strategies to help people get started on the journey

🇬🇧 Check out my #1 alternative recommendation is this one. Very popular in the UK 🇬🇧

You’ll have to register for a ‘free ticket’ where Samuel runs these events on weekends throughout London and Birmingham. There appears to be ‘formulas’ and ‘secrets’ that you can discover.

Is it a get-rich-quick gig? Yes, it looks a bit like that. But at the same time, there is some good quality information on offer.

Is it a scam?

Well, it’s 2 days of free content. Leave the credit card at home and you won’t have a thing to worry about. 😉 Take lots of notes and absorb the free content. Plus, you will meet other likeminded people just like you.

Does Samuel sell? Yes. There is a property academy course on offer. You don’t need to buy up, but many people have. I think it’s a great program for many people. The Academy price appears to be £3,000 at this time.

Mike Winnet, a man who I have a lot of respect for, did an interesting interview with Samuel on his podcast.

The comments are certainly interesting. I believe Samuel not only handled this interview quite well, but Mike was very respectful too with the questions. Props to Mike for the editing plus his other videos which expose everything about this industry, which has certainly made a bad name for itself.

My opinion

Samuel and his Property Investors UK training company has a lot of 5-star reviews on Facebook, TrustPilot and other sites. These can be hard to fake, though not impossible either.

Some people didn’t like his training, however, referencing the amount of content that you can find for free online already. YouTube is a great resource that has changed the world.

In my opinion, he does have some good training available in the weekend workshops. Leave the credit card at home and absorb what you learn for free. You can always call up later if you wish to move into the paid training.

He does have some great success stories. After all, thousands of people have been through the Property Investors weekend in the United Kingdom. You would expect some testimonials with that volume going through the event doors.

I would go to learn as much as you can. You can learn a lot from a book, but networking with others can be a great asset. As for the paid program? You really need to consider some factors such as your current financial situation.

Many people do become successful property investors without ever having attended a weekend workshop. Though education can be a huge asset.

Danny Butcher

Recently, some readers have been writing in sharing the Danny Butcher and Samuel Leeds story. I’ve only seen one side of this and would be interesting to see the other side. Yet one thing is quite evident – Danny, unfortunately, took his own life in October 2019.

While I don’t like Coffeezilla’s general negativity (I believe every marketer makes mistakes at some point during their journey, including myself) this interview is definitely thought-provoking. Ultimately, never join an online program unless it *feels* right for you and you have a longterm plan. Don’t go into debt to pay for a course.

Becoming a property investor

Right now I have 3 investment properties. Quite honestly – they suck cashflow out each month. Luckily, my tenants are all fantastic. But it still sucks.

It’s also a lot of work. Unlike many of these ‘weekend warrior’ workshops that you see advertised, it is always a lot harder than it looks on stage. I believe it’s very very challenging to find any property that you can take on, with full ownership, through no-money-down.

Some challenges include:

  • You often need a high income to afford the loans/financing
  • Deposits required are high and so is capital for renovations
  • Dealing with tenants can be an issue and a real nightmare
  • There are council fees, property letting and other incidentals
  • You might be taxed quite highly depending on your situation

Which some of these can be overcome with the right education. Samuel Leeds weekend crash course can help with some of this, though his paid Academy cost is quite expensive too.

But it’s undeniable that it’s very challenging at times with property. After all, it’s not the only opportunity around. For example, there are numerous ways to generate an online income from home, where you don’t make phone calls, deal with tenants or even look at a single real estate deal ever again.

Selling on Amazon

In my experience, selling on Amazon removes a lot of the disadvantages of becoming a property investor. You can learn for a very reasonable price, plus you can also network with others just like you.

With becoming an Amazon seller, you can:

  • Avoid dealing with banks and mortgages
  • Leave behind any issues with bad tenants
  • Create a small online business of your own
  • Start as a beginner, with free training available
  • Learn as you go, without outlaying thousands

Because you’re looking for something more affordable. Where people have found success.

Do you know what? 4,500+ people have started their journey as online sellers with this training community. There are countless success stories here.

What students often do is take their profits from selling on Amazon, and turn it into more profits through property investing. No doubt that some of Samuel’s own students are Amazon sellers themselves because the returns on investment can be very high.

>>> Starting for FREE Here <<<

Just like Samuel, this training community provides free training through an excellent webinar. This is where you’ll discover the advantages of becoming an Amazon seller, the right types of products to sell and how to source.

This is in my opinion the dream business. Where you can get a heck of a lot of freedom.

To live and work anywhere in the world. Straight off the laptop. On a beach in Thailand.

For many people, they attempt to do this through property investing. It’s a great strategy! But some people are looking for someone more attainable and more reachable. Selling on Amazon FBA can be the exact solution for those looking for something affordable.

After all, 4,500+ students are already on board with this 100% FREE training webinar for those serious about learning the right way.

Samuel Leeds in closing

Samuel Leeds isn’t a scam, but it’s understandable that most people might claim that it is. It’s just this ‘snake oil’ industry creates some questionable characters. Samuel is good though can massively improve upon his perception a lot I’m sure.

He does run a free 2-day event where I recommend you leave the credit card at home. Absorb the content, take notes, make some new friends and discover how to build financial freedom through property.

In other words, Samuel Leeds does have a good introductory conference which you should attend, with an effective property training program on offer. Just remember that results do take a long time in most cases.

You could also open your mind to the potential of making money through the laptop with your very own business. One that runs online, where you can sell products around the world.

That to me is real freedom. Selling on Amazon changed my life and in April 2018 I quit my job for the very last time.

Was this easy? No. It takes a lot of work to build a successful Amazon business. You will need capital, drive, motivation and work for multiple years in part-time hours.

But if you can stick around, then I look forward to seeing you on the inside very soon. You can start for FREE right here. See you inside. 😃

Reviewed: Wake Up Warrior – Thoughts on Garrett J White

Through this review of Wake Up Warrior and Garrett J White, I’m going to share my thoughts and opinions. I’ll evaluate if this is for you, or if it’s one you should pass on.

I’m Joshua – I started this content-driven blog years ago. I’m still here, yet I am miles in front now. I’ve spent $40,000+ on these personal development courses and programs, and the return has been exponential.

Being upfront, I’m slightly biased when I’m evaluating these sort of programs, though I also have a well calibrated BS meter. Yet, through this journey, I’m still as soft as I started, and went looking for a solution. A mentor put me through to Garrett.

Another disclaimer: I am not married, with no intentions of doing so. At this time of writing, I also do not have a significant other, yet it’s something I’m working towards. It’s what sold me on Garrett’s training. My business is also not so traditional, as I’m in the eCommerce space.

Insights into Garrett J White

Garrett has simply woken me up. His Wake Up Warrior training is simply powerful. I’ve seen plenty of dating coaches through my social media feeds, but a distinct lack of real men. That is…men without the Tony Robbins size and jargon. Just straight actionable content.

He’s the real deal. There’s a distinctive history of his impact over a number of years for married business men. He’s built numerous multi-million dollar businesses that have impacted thousands of lives previously.

Wake Up Warrior

This is Garrett’s premier training program. It’s for married business men who want results, and simply want to transform their lives. Wake Up Warrior has hundreds of excellent reviews and feedback online.

There is an online training course, an entry-level bootcamp and an advanced boot-camp. These are called Warrior Week. The boot-camps are all held in the USA, but I do know several people who have travelled over, including those from Australia for Warrior Week.

Garrett J White Review Warrior King

Information about these events is somewhat tight-lipped, and for good reason. The content is far superior to what’s out there, and men at these workshops really do open up. It’s not for the faint-hearted either. The downside is that these events aren’t cheap, but divorce isn’t cheap either.

Closing thoughts

I do look forward to going deeper on this journey with the Warrior King company. Out of all the ‘gurus’ in the marketplace, Garrett White is the best. Yes, I did just say that. There is no one better to create results for married businessmen, at least not at this scale.

I do recommend that you watch the Wake Up Warrior and Be The Man movies which are available online. This is a rare sneak-peak into Garrett’s students and workshops to awaken men. There’s a shit ton of reviews out there already, I don’t need to validate this any more for you. Draw your own conclusions.
