Caleb O’Dowd has a webinar. Were you just on it? Caleb promotes a course called “High Profit Facebook Groups” or HPFG for short, so here’s my review.
I may earn a commission for links on this page. However, I’ve chosen to create this unbias review with no links to Caleb’s course, nor has he paid me anything to share my opinion here.
Caleb O’Dowd insights
Caleb O’Dowd, the owner of Multichannel Marketing, got started within internet marketing quite a few years ago. An individual that has really pushed to help individuals get started on their online journey.
His reputation isn’t so high as there are minimal mentions in the mainstream press. Don’t let that fool you! Caleb shares a lot of great content online for complete beginners and completely for free.
If you throw his name into YouTube, then you’ll find stacks of videos. After many false starts in his journey, he has broken through to become a well-respected marketer.
I’ve noticed that he’s someone who knows how to Copywrite very well, especially as he learned from the famous Gary Halbert.
High Profit Facebook Groups Review
Currently, this is the training program on offer from Caleb. Some say it’s overpriced. Others say it’s worth it.
Caleb O’Dowd is refering to “Doctor K” in his webinars. This is Harlan Kilstein who is an expert in Facebook marketing.
My opinion of High Profit Facebook Groups is that it can really help you to hit the ground running if you’ve got the funds. Should your capital be tight (as it is right now for many people) then you can start a Facebook group essentially for free.
Training programs cost you either way. You’ll pay with your time or pay with your pocket. Caleb’s simply saving you from the time of having to both learn and implement.
Because this isn’t just a training course. It’s a Done For You service too. So often I see people taking online training courses but never actually do anything with them.
I used to do this too earlier in my journey and have learned that Action + Consistency = Results.
Can you learn everything that Caleb is teaching for free? Sure. There isn’t much that’s ground-breaking here because it’s Facebooks after all, but digging around for that information is going to be challenging.
The webinar price is $1,997 USD. For Australians, Caleb O’Dowd’s course then becomes quite expensive with our exchange rates.
ROI Players Club
The ROI Players Club is something different and is designed for those who want to become internet marketers or copywriters.
The reviews on this program are almost non-existent as this is a newer program that Caleb is still working on.
It’s also good to see Jason Capital working with Caleb. Jason’s someone who I highly respect in the industry given the content he provides to boost the confidence of younger guys.
Does this Facebook thing work?
Yes – Caleb’s strategy does work. Creating topic-based Facebook groups is one very good strategy as you’re able to create live engagement and product recommendations to a specific group of people.
If you look around Facebook, you’ll actually find people doing this already. However, it’s still early days and not everyone has caught on to this as an income stream. So you’ll have the early-mover advantage until people jump on this bandwagon.
Personally – I prefer owning the platform. That is; creating my own profitable websites where I own the traffic, not Facebook. My strategy is a long-term play while Caleb’s is a short-term play.
Essentially, to make cashflow sooner, Facebook groups are a great strategy.
And it’s something that you can get started with for free, while Caleb can give you a jump start so you don’t have to figure it all out yourself.
Things like compliance, choosing the right demographic and keeping negative people away. There is much more than just starting a new group.
The course is a solid program, though the content isn’t as in-depth as Amazon or affiliate marketing courses. What I praise is the content on copywriting – that stuff is gold.
In fact, it’s a high-income skill that should be developed by everyone. You never know when your own words could come in helpful.
My preference is to build authority websites that I own. This way I don’t run into compliance issues with Facebook and risk getting my group shut down.
For $1,997 you get training + your group built for you (to some degree…). Despite the negative reviews, Caleb’s system works. The question is: are you willing to work?
